In meeting this commitment, management will comply with all legislative requirements and take all practicable steps to:
1.Provide a safe place of work, safe equipment and proper materials.
2.Establish and insist that safe work methods are practiced at all times.
3.Provide supervision and training.
4.Ensure employees and other persons understand and accept their responsibility to promote safe and healthy place of work. ON SITE PROCEDURES
1.Assess any hazards before starting work
2.Take 5 minutes every day at jobsite to monitor any changes to hazard records
3.Any visitors to site will be required to be accompanied by a member of Longsilver Construction Ltd at all times.
4.Wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary
5.Report any near misses to management
6.Record any onsite accidents
7.New staff will be introduced to tools, equipment and types of work as required
8.Vehicles, plant and equipment are selected and maintained to a safe standard
9.All vehicles will carry a First Aid Kit
10.All workers will have access to a mobile phone on site for emergency use
11.All staff will be required to sign a copy of this policy to confirm they have read and understood the policy and it’s procedures.
